Shipping Policy

Regular Shipping

  • Orders are shipped via USPS, UPS, or FedEx.
  • Georgetown Small Engines (GSE) offers ground delivery to the 48 contiguous states.
  • Shipping Fees: Our shipping fees for each item are determined by the weight and size of the item / packaging. We strive to offer excellent shipping services and keep costs low for our customers. Some items (i.e. large items and those weighing over 150lbs.) may be required to be shipped as freight.

 

Freight Shipments

  • Items too large (or heavy) for regular ground shipping will be shipped by truck (freight). Please call us for a freight quote or fill and submit our freight form.
  • Freight delivery drivers are not required to unload shipments. A lift gate will be required ($150 charge) for deliveries to locations without a forklift to remove the purchased items.
  • GSE will NOT contact you with freight expense.

 

International Shipping

  • GSE does not ship internationally.

 

Backordered Parts

  • We stock most parts, or can get them within 1-2 business days. Occasionally, certain parts may be on backorder, which means the warehouse from which we get our parts does not have them in stock.

 

Return Policy

  • This return policy applies to products you have purchased directly from georgetownsmallengines.com.
  • You have 60 days from the date you place your order to return a product.
  • The following items are not eligible for return and will be sent back to you at your expense if received by us:
  • Any item not purchased from georgetownsmallengines.com
  • Any item that has been used or installed.
  • Any item that is returned without all of the original packaging, parts, and accessories (including the retail box and any other items originally included with the product).
  • Any item that displays physical damage.
  • Decks and engines are not eligible for return.

 

Refunds and Shipping Errors

  • According to U.S. law, refund credits can only be returned back to the card of original purchase. In the event that a card can no longer be charged back (lost card etc.) an attempt on our part has to be made at least once and then a company check will be sent to the purchaser. The company check process can delay the time taken to receive the refund.
  • Should the customer receive product not expressly ordered either by our shipping error or incorrect website information, the product will be picked up by our shipper and replacements shipped at no additional charge
